recruitment process for 2,482 Local Bank Officer posts for the year
2026. The vacancies are for regular appointments in Junior Management
Grade/Scale-I (JMG/S-I).

Eligibility
Conditions for Local Bank Officer
Applicants must fulfil the
prescribed requirements before submitting their forms. The main eligibility
conditions concern education, professional experience, age and knowledge of the
local language.
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in any
discipline from a recognized university or institution is required for the
post.
Candidates should have valid proof
of their graduation qualification. The Bank can ask for the relevant degree and
marksheets during document verification or at another stage of recruitment.

Requirement
The applicant should possess at
least one year of post-qualification experience as an Officer in a
Scheduled Commercial Bank included in the Second Schedule of the Reserve Bank
of India.
The required experience is
specifically at officer level. Service performed in a clerical cadre does not
fulfil this particular eligibility condition.
Candidates should keep
employment-related proof available, such as an experience certificate,
appointment document, relieving letter or other records showing the required
experience.
Knowledge
of Local Language

The Local Bank Officer position is
