The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces Examination, 2026 for eligible candidates.  The recruitment covers Sub-Inspector (Executive) posts in Delhi Police, Sub-Inspector (GD) posts in CAPFs, and Sub-Inspector (Fire) posts in CISF. A total of 1,871 tentative vacancies has been notified.

Eligibility and Educational Qualification

Educational Qualification

For Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and SI (GD) in CAPFs, candidates should have a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification. Candidates who are in the final year of their degree programme can also apply, provided they meet the conditions mentioned in the official notification.

For SI (Fire) in CISF, the notification specifies a separate educational requirement involving a science degree with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or the prescribed engineering diploma route. Candidates should check the official notification for the complete post-specific requirement.

Male candidates applying for SI (Executive) in Delhi Police must also possess the prescribed valid LMV driving license for motorcycle and car by the stage specified in the recruitment notice.
